About the Artist.

My method of working involves painting from life directly observing my subject. I work outside throughout the year and the delicate quality of light in the winter months is one of my favourite themes. My paintings are almost always completed in a single session which helps me to capture a particular moment in time as well as the location.

I have exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the New English Art Club and Royal Society of British Artists.  In 2008, I was honoured to be an invited artist at the Discerning Eye exhibition in London and in 2009 I won the Chelsea Art Society Award for a Painting.
